The San Diego chapter of Young Catholic Professionals (YCP) will gather Tuesday, January 9th, at 7 p.m. for its next monthly Executive Speaker Series, featuring Karen Conde, founder and CEO of Conde Group, Inc.. The event is FREE and open to all young professionals in their 20s and 30s and is usually attended by people from all industries!

YCP is one of the nation's fastest-growing Catholic organizations with chapters in cities across the country and now finally in San Diego! Join other vibrant, Catholic young professionals at this free monthly event.

ABOUT Karen Conde:
Karen R. Conde is Founder and CEO of Conde Group, Inc., an international, women certified, award winning IT staffing and Managed Services firm. Headquartered 15 years in San Diego, CA, Conde Group also has offices in LA, SF, Dallas, Atlanta, NYC and a Network Operation Center in Phoeniz, AZ. Prior to starting Conde Group, Inc in 2003, Karen held various senior executive level positions within the Project Management and Information Technology industry. Her most recent position prior to Conde Group, Inc was at Provant, Inc. where she was Executive Vice President of Sales with overall responsibilities of leading a sales organization that sold and managed a portfolio of over $150 billion in strategic projects and trained more than 500,000 project managers. Karen was instrumental in leading a team that helped organizations transform their strategic initiatives into business results. Leveraging a deep competence in project management and related business processes and solutions, Karen and her team helped achieve breakthrough performance improvements. Clients included Fortune 1000 companies as well as small and midsized companies and government agencies

Karen’s success is and has been based on her ability to meet the ever-changing needs of clients and to consistently provide superior customer service and delivery.

In the late 80’s, Karen joined a startup company and began her current career. As VP of Sales and Marketing, she quickly propelled the firm into an established and respected provider of software application /Information Technology/Cisco training. Karen became Regional VP of Business Development with an international firm that provided software application and Information Technology training solutions. Specializing in the design and implementation of successful business strategies, Karen’s primary focus has always been on client focus and client concern.
In 2003, Karen founded Forgotten Victims, a 501c3 non-profit organization that provides support to those in involved in vehicular accidents that caused catastrophic injuries or death without the use of drugs or alcohol. This organization was formed based on Karen’s own personal experience.
Karen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from the University of Arizona. In addition to being Founder and Chairman of the Board for Forgotten Victims, Karen also serves on the Board for Fund your Future and St. Brigid Finance Council. She is also a member of the California Staffing Professionals Organization, National Association of Female Executives, Project Management Institute, Women in Technology Institute, Women’s Business Enterprise National Council. Karen has received numerous awards for Women Who Mean Business, Fastest Growing in America and Most Inspired CEO to name a few. She was also featured in the 2011 Edition of Forbes Magazine.

Karen has a son, David and daughter in law, Haley who reside in Alexandria, VA. Her son is a graduate of La Jolla High, College of the Holy Cross, Worcester MA and completing his graduate studies at Johns Hopkins in Government Security. He is a 1st Lieutenant Army Intelligence Reserve and an Intelligence Analyst for the DOD. Haley is an Occupational Therapist with a Masters Degree from Tufts University, Boston MA.

Karen has 2 fur babies, Max and Harry who are considered Security at Conde Group. She also enjoys Pilates, spin, working out with her trainer, time with her friends and traveling.
